Java Sailing Navigation App Development
Budget: £5 – £10 GBP
I'm looking for a skilled Java developer to create a sailing navigation app. The app should primarily serve for sailing with features including:
- Timer
- Six screens of compass data
- game style UI experience by moving phone around with inertial sensors, gyro, accelerometer, etc
- google maps API
In addition to the above, one of the compass screens needs to display the current GPS coordinates.
The ideal candidate for this project should have:
- understanding of Physics.
- Extensive experience in Java programming
Experience of sensors inc gyro, accelerometer, rotation matrix, sensor fusion,
- experience of signal processing such as filtering, kalman, moving average, median, smoothing.
- Prior experience in developing navigation applications, kml files.
- Understanding of sailing and related navigation parameters would be a plus
- Ability to create user-friendly and intuitive app interfaces.
