Java Linked List Traffic Violation Processor

I need a Java application that reads three text files containing traffic violation information into three separate linked lists. The application should process each list - filtering out violations by type, computing the amount based on the severity of each violation, and sorting the violations. Please note, no Java collections should be used and a GUI is not required.

Ideal skills and experience for the job include:
