Java/C JNA Project Debugging
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
I'm seeking a talented software developer to help debug my Java/C JNA project. The project is experiencing some runtime errors that are causing it to crash or throw exceptions. My goal is to get the project working smoothly without the need for extensive rewrites.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Proficient in Java and C
- Experience with Java Native Access (JNA)
- Strong debugging skills
- Familiar with handling runtime errors
- Able to provide efficient solutions without extensive rewrites
Project desccription:
This is an attempt to have a JNA bridge to pilot some Tecknic (teknic.com) motors from the SC line.
Current example works until Teknic Library code is called.
Project consists of a maven java project to link to a home made dll and the visual studio 2022 (Community) project to create the home made Library.
Developper needs no licence or hardware to proceed.
Expected result:
The home made Library ought to return the count of discovered SC drives (which will be zero on developer's case) to the java Library.
Delivery for validation:
It is expected that the developper will deliver a compiled Library and jar so that it can be verified that the code discovers the count of drives on the validation machine.
Upon positive result, project will be validated and agreed money amount will be transfered. Developper will then transfer the source code to finalize the task.
Attached to the description are the source code for the java and C parts for you to examine. It is expected that ANY of the people sending an offer has at least seen the code and understood the task.
Bots and non-interested people will be ignored.
