Description:
I am seeking a proficient Java developer to assist with the integration of a time series chart in a simulation project. The objective is to track the number of agents that freeze during the simulation. This involves creating a new class and adapting existing GUI components, all within the Eclipse IDE. The right candidate will ensure data is accurately represented and seamlessly fits into the existing project structure.

Responsibilities:

Develop a new Java class named "Experimenter" that extends the Observer class, intended for data collection and management within the simulation.
Modify the existing GUI class to incorporate the Experimenter, setting up and managing the time series chart.
Implement robust functions to update and display the chart based on live simulation data.
Confirm integration is fully operational and visually accurate within the Eclipse environment.
Qualifications:

Strong proficiency in Java, with extensive experience using Eclipse IDE for development.
Experience with GUI development and familiarity with the Mason simulation framework (MasonPlus9) is highly desired.
Skilled in creating and managing time series data visualizations.
Competent with sim.engine.SimState, sim.util.Bag, and other relevant classes.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Project Deliverables:

A functional time series chart, integrated within the simulation framework running on Eclipse.
Comprehensive source code for all new developments and modifications.
Documentation that describes the implementation process and provides instructions for demonstration.
