Java Developer for Web Scraper & Desktop App (Custom Library) with DevTool -- 2
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I am looking for a Java developer to build a web scraper that operates through a desktop interface. I have attached a sketch of the desktop application UI that I need you to follow.
You will be working with a custom Java library I have developed, which contains the core functionality needed for this task.
The Required Flow:
Input: If there is no link to grab, I will add a starting link to the app.
Initial Grab: The app must open that page, grab all available links, and add them to a list.
Recursive Grab: The app should then automatically open the links from that list and grab the links found inside those pages as well.
Requirements:
Long-Term Commitment: This is just the start. I need someone who can support this project long-term, as I have many more features planned for future updates.
Communication: Fast communication is essential for my workflow. After we have started the contract here on Upwork, I require the use of major messaging platforms for quick daily updates.
Technical: Strong experience with Java and browser DevTools.
