Java App Conversion to Microservices

My project involves the conversion of a monolithic application, currently built with Java, into a microservices structure. I'm specifically interested in utilizing the Spring Boot framework for this project.

Whilst the specific microservices to be carved from the main application haven't been fully identified yet, the chosen freelancer should be comfortable and experienced with a wide range of functionalities.

Requirements include:

- Experience with Spring Boot framework
- Expertise in microservices architecture
- Strong understanding of database management and infrastructures

Ability to work on payment processing and user management microservices would also be beneficial. A knack for dissecting and understanding existing code to identify potential microservices will be ideal. Room for creativity and initiative is widely welcome in decision-making for service division.

The overall aim is to improve the modularity, scalability and management of the current application, ensuring better performance and future growth.
