JasperStudio Report Design Using XML Data Source -- 3
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
1) Data Source: File named Example.xml (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1QtGrDECJVT2Yh1GjcpomLCpuNRW8irwl/view?usp=drive_link)
containing data in XML format.
Project Description:
The report should be segmented into chapters according to the categories from the XML file. The name of each category should appear in the page header as the chapter title.
Each new chapter (category) should start on a new page.
Once all loops for a particular category and its subcategories are completed, the report should automatically transition to the next page and the next chapter (next category).
The report should feature a table of contents listing all categories, subcategories, and items from the XML file.
The first page of the document should be a cover page. Details of the cover page will be provided in the next phase.
Additional Notes:
Ensure that all elements from the XML file are adequately represented in the report, including instances, forms, and sub-forms along with their respective fields.
Maintain clarity and aesthetics in data presentation.
I'm also attaching a preliminary example in Word format (https://docs.google.com/document/d/15ohaOX63QkDcLEU_dLw2Dk-RXqL1NE_StupeUKAFVr0/edit?usp=drive_link) to show how the generated PDF should look. Please review the first version of the project for feedback before proceeding with the finer details.
2) JasperStudio Report Design Using XML from agreement.xml
Data Source: File named agreement.xml (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1pB1m2w62xnmTerGCQO_k9lgJRpeiFNqf/view?usp=drive_link) containing relevant data.
Expected Appearance: Document named LongDocument (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1BUOm3ozR8kSX-G7bq_9Q-o6_jT1jMF3QJwSV7t1gHG0/edit?usp=drive_link).
Project Description:
If the text doesn't fit on the current page, it should automatically continue onto the next page.
The school’s logo should be featured prominently in the header of each page.
The document text should integrate fields retrieved directly from the XML data source.
Additional Notes:
Ensure seamless transition and continuity when text flows from one page to the next, maintaining formatting and readability.
Make sure the integration of fields from the XML data source is accurate and contextually appropriate.
Please review the appearance and structure using the provided LongDocument as a reference. Kindly show an initial version of the project for feedback before proceeding with further detailing.
