JMRTD Windows Desktop Testing
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
I have a Windows desktop application that relies on the JMRTD library to read and verify an e-passport via an NFC reader. To validate it properly, you must already have a compatible reader and your own passport so you can run every scenario end-to-end on a Windows machine.
Scope of work
• Install the supplied build on Windows 10/11.
• Execute each flow that reads the passport chip, performs BAC or PACE, and displays the retrieved data.
• Note crashes, incorrect field mappings, timing issues, and any UI quirks.
• Produce a clear test report with reproduction steps, screenshots, logs, and a short executive summary outlining critical, major, and minor findings.
I will provide the executable, checksums, and sample expected outputs once we confirm your reader model. Familiarity with JMRTD debug flags, Java, and basic Windows troubleshooting will speed up feedback loops.
