JAVA Developer for Real-time Messaging & SQL Integration (Socket Programming) -- 2

We are seeking a skilled freelance developer to assist with a project involving real-time data handling from a DLM meter device. The task involves establishing a socket connection to receive data from the device and storing it in a database in JSON format, tagged with the device's IMEI.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a socket connection to interface with a DLM meter device for real-time data retrieval.
Parse and process the incoming device data, saving it into a database in JSON format, with the device IMEI as a unique identifier.
Ensure reliable data transmission and storage with proper error handling and validation.
Requirements:

Proven experience with socket programming (e.g., WebSocket, TCP/IP) in a relevant language (Python, Node.js, Java, etc.).
Familiarity with database management (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and JSON data handling.
Understanding of device communication protocols and data parsing.
Ability to deliver clean, documented code and provide a brief setup guide.
Preferred Skills:

Experience with IoT or hardware device integration.
Knowledge of DLM meter devices or similar systems is a plus.
Deliverables:

Functional socket connection code for the DLM meter device.
Database schema and code to store device data in JSON format with IMEI.
Basic documentation for setup and usage.
