Integrate MacOS Screenshotting & Basic Control into Java App
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I'm looking to enhance a Java application with native MacOS screenshotting capabilities and basic keyboard/mouse control.
This is to add MacOS support to the app, which already runs on Windows.
Key Requirements:
- Implementation of a handful of interface methods that deal with native device integration, i.e. screen capture and mouse/keyboard input.
- Implementation of selective window capture via SCScreenshotManager and making the resulting data buffer accessible to Java code.
- Integration of basic input control, such as typing, and mouse moving/clicking/dragging at specified coordinates (relative to the window being captured).
Ideal Skills:
- Proficiency in Java
- MacOS native development
- Familiarity with `SCScreenshotManager`
- Understanding of keyboard/mouse control integration in applications, in particular on MacOS where additional permissions may be required.
- Use of Java - objective-c bridge or other 3rd party software is permitted as long as they allow for commercial use.
This feature will primarily be used for UI Automation within a specific program. The integration must be highly optimized for performance to ensure smooth operation without lag. The project requires detailed documentation for each function for future maintainability. The application needs only support the latest MacOS version, but `SCScreenshotManager` et al are required since previous techniques are now deprecated by Apple.
