Full-stack Java Developer for Application Support

The Java Developer provides support and makes changes to previously built applications. This position works on all aspects of the technology stack, front end UI/UX, backend APIs, databases and data access.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and services.
• Work with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and others to build scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design solutions, and implement features.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Perform application testing, debugging, and troubleshooting in a cloud environment.
• Monitor and optimize application performance in AWS.
• Manage deployment pipelines using AWS tools like CodePipeline, CodeDeploy, or third-party CI/CD tools.
• Ensure code quality and maintainability through code reviews and unit testing.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Java Developer, with at least 3 years of experience in software development.
• Strong knowledge of Java frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, etc.) and libraries.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services, such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, and CloudWatch.
• Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes is a plus.
• Experience with both Microsoft SQL database and NoSQL database like DynamoDB.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of JavaScript or other front-end technologies.
• Experience with automation tools such as Terraform.
• Experience with Webflow, or an equivalent CMS (Wix, Squarespace, wordpress etc.).
• Experience with Typescript
• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer) are a plus.
