Fix Java EE Project (Payara Server, Maven, JSF, MySQL Integration)

I have a Java EE project built with:

⚫ JSF (JavaServer Faces)

⚫JPA (Java Persistence API)

⚫Maven (pom.xml)

⚫Payara Server (Deployed via Eclipse IDE)

⚫MySQL database (JDBC connection required)

The project was running perfectly earlier, but now it fails to compile and run. I’m receiving compilation errors and XML configuration issues (e.g., in payara-resources.xml, faces-config.xml, etc.). I need an expert to troubleshoot and fix the build, server configuration, and database connectivity issues.

What I Need:
⚫Fix Maven build failure (pom.xml, dependency issues)

⚫Resolve Payara resource configuration problems (payara-resources.xml)

⚫Properly integrate MySQL using mysql-connector-java

⚫Ensure Eclipse + Payara deployment works smoothly

⚫Clean up any deprecated or incorrect code



Requirements:
⚫Strong experience in Java EE (JSF, JPA)

⚫Hands-on experience with Payara or GlassFish server

⚫Knowledge of Maven and dependency management

⚫Experience with Eclipse IDE for Enterprise Java

⚫Able to troubleshoot faces-config.xml, persistence.xml, and JDBC setup
