Fix JAVA WAR file

We are a loan document company. We had a develop create a JAVA WAR file that sits on a server that converts XML data into JSON data that is then imported into our loan documentation application. Unfortunately, the developer passed away suddenly and the the conversion is no longer working. Can you help?
