Create a desktop software which can automate the construction estimation process
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 AUD
I am looking for a software developer to create a software which can automate the residential construction estimation process. This involves a software which has the ability to annotate plans and attain quantities; and then place them into a Takeoff sheet. These quantities will then need to be transferred into a database which will provide a final cost estimation.
The achievment of this product will be completed in two stages:
1. The ability for the system to annotate a wide variety of plans and locate differences between them and place them into a Takeoff sheet
2. The ability to gather these final quantities and place them into the correct categories within the database to achieve the final estimation.
Furthermore, I have attached a Takeoff sheet and architectural plan as a reference. I believe that Java may be best suited for this form of software but I am open to opinions. Please contact me if you believe you are capable of achieving this. Thank you.
