Color Palette Generator Chrome Extension

Job ID: 33036840

Budget: £20 – £250 GBP

Hello,
We are looking to develop a Google Chrome plugin to support the work of graphic designers. The plugin will identify colors visible on a webpage and translate that into RGB codes. Ideally we would like to create files of color pallets and store them in the cloud.

Deliverables:
1. Be able to create accounts for the program using email and password
2. Access to the extension with an UI via extension toolbar, and right click action on any website
3. Separate the text colors, store text colors as a separate color theme or remove from the color palette of the website
4. Choose 5 major colors by frequency and/or the size of the color block in a website by scanning the CSS file vs. scanning the full page after it has been rendered
5. Display the five color swatches (square color blocks)
6. Display the RGB code and the percentage of usage in the website of the 5 colors when hovered over the swatches in the extension toolbar UI
7. Store the palette in the user’s local library with the website name associated (e.g. Color palette of amazon.com)
8. Functionality to create cloud-based collaborative projects where participants can add the palettes from their user library
