RFP for Chatbot in Training
I need a developer to create an application and API for a chatbot to answer questions in a training class. The functions of a chatbot and the data it will research are very minimal. If there was a voice interface for AskYourPDF or Docalysis, 90% of the functionality would already exist.
The data will be in a knowledge base (data set) provided to the chatbot with instructions to find answers for questions only in the knowledge base.
The AI functions needed are natural language interface and “define, search, select, compile and reply”.
In addition both text and voice two-way communication is required over two channels: internet to a personal computer and mobile network to a mobile device.
Low cost and quick launch are priorities, but a little longer, with a little more cost, for a lot more functionality will be entertained.

Terms
You will be paid a fixed fee for a fixed scope of work. If we propose to change the specifications, you will advise us of any additional cost. If we accept, you can proceed with the changes. If we do not accept you are under no obligation to make changes and should complete the work according the original specification and scope of work.
Payment
You will be paid per the terms of the freelance website where we met.
Competition
This RFP will be provided to 3 developers. After evaluating the results of the questions and a zoom interview, we will select and contract with the preferred contractor. We will notify you if you are not selected.
Warranty and Customer Support
You will warrant the bug free functionality of your work for 1 year following launch and provide 60 minutes of customer service via phone call per month for one year included in your fee to develop the application.
