Build me a jsp webpage with MySQL database conncetion

I want to put an existing Java based Program on the Internet using a Tomcat server and MySQL database. The Server and the MySQL is hosted at Mochahost. The application is an business application that allows multiple users to connect to a server and enter their daily working hours in function of the project they are working on. Also it allows to manage the stock of spare parts.
The program allows to question the database and calculate indicators.
After this poject I want to build additional programs in the same way.
I am very new in programming and specially Web developments. I need to start this project in a way that allows me to understand the program and follow the logic. I also need some help to run the program from the host.
