Booking System & Website Upkeep
Budget: $10 – $20 NZD
My online booking platform is the engine of my business, so keeping it reliable, fast and intuitive is my top priority. I’m looking for someone who can take ongoing ownership of the system—chasing down bugs as soon as they appear, streamlining the user flow, and rolling out fresh ideas that make scheduling effortless for both customers and staff.
Here’s what I need right now:
• Fix and prevent recurring glitches that occasionally disrupt bookings or payments.
• Refactor or redesign parts of the interface where users still get confused.
• Add smart touches such as real-time availability checks, automatic reminders, or any other innovation that boosts conversion and reduces no-shows.
• Make sure updates in the booking system never break the main website; light website maintenance will be required alongside the core booking work.
• Be on call for general IT questions—anything from email deliverability to a quick server tweak—so the whole tech stack stays modern and efficient.
You’ll have direct access to the existing codebase, hosting panel and admin dashboards. I’m happy to discuss preferred tools or frameworks; what matters most is clean, well-documented work and ideas that genuinely improve the experience.
My system is in Java and I do not wish to change this. Last IT guy that did caused heaps of issues still ongoing.
If you enjoy keeping vital systems running smoothly while pushing them forward with thoughtful enhancements, let’s talk about next steps and milestones.
Thanks
Jack
