Job Description:
We are looking for a US-based Scala Developer focused on APIs to join our team and work on scaling APIs within innovative real estate projects. You will navigate among existing code written in Scala and Java to maximize efficiency and improve the solutions.
Responsibilities:
Backend development using Scala and Java.
Collaborating with the frontend developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive code to enhance the user experience.
Scaling APIs.
Assessing the efficiency and speed of current applications.
Managing hosting environments.
Troubleshooting and debugging.
Keeping on top of new technologies.
Qualifications:
Experience with Scala of 5+ years.
Experience with Java of 5+ years.
Experience with Slick library.
Advanced proficiency with PostgreSQL database.
Extended experience scaling APIs.
Knowledge of Solr and/or Lucene is a plus.
Knowledge of AWS is a plus.
US-based.
