Automation QA Engineer @ Hyderabad - Remote - INDIA

Title: Automation QA Engineer
Location: Hyderabad (Remote)
Exp: up to 7 years QA

Timings: 12:30 pm to 9:30 pm IST / during winter 1:30 pm to 10:30 pm IST

Responsibilities:

Build and maintain test scripts using an automation test tool including TDD/BDD techniques
Create test automation frameworks
Select and develop appropriate test automation tools, applying the latest techniques in test automation
Work with the peer SQA and development team(s) to create and maintain an automated suite for smoke, sanity, regression, functional, Acceptance tests
Ensure proper traceability, version control and configuration management of all test objects developed
Prepare test data and test estimates for test automation
Report issues and risks to the Test Manager/Lead Provide support and knowledge to other members of the team
Support and maintain DevOps pipelines for continuous integration, deployment, and test
Perform manual testing as needed to support Selux priorities

Qualifications/Skills:
Strong ability to write effective code. preferably C#, .Net, python, Java
Strong experience with unit testing frameworks like Junit and BDD framework Cucumber
Experience writing SQL queries for RDBMS like Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle
Design and implement new tools, scalable automated test frameworks
Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery, utilizing technologies such as GIT, Jenkins, and DevOps tools
Cloud technologies such as Azure, Docker, Kubernetes is a plus
Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals
Experience with Agile development
Effectively articulate any technical challenges and undefined problems
