Android app/service development needed
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
Hi,
We're working on experimental service for ANDROID mobile platform, and need brightheaded coder, with
a. PERFECT knowledge of Android permissions/admin rights/limitations
b. knowledge of different Android versions
c. main knowledge of client/server service concepts
The task will be devided into 3 sections :
Milestone 1 :
Very simple SERVICE for android which would :
a. installed by other app or user on a non rooted Android device
b. would be running on the background constantly, and would STAY running after reboot
c. would send PINGs to our server , and recieve RESPONCES from our server
d. POSSIBLY : could update itself once response UPDATE is received
We expect testing this on 100-200 different mobile phones and, if all works fine, we would move on
Milestone 2 :
Here we would need integrating existent code written in JAVA(?), which would replace the mentioned SERVICE from Milestone 1.
Several additions would be needed here:
a. we would need monitoring system activity (CPU/GPU/RAM)
b. we would need monitoring battery status (HIGH/MID/LOW/CHARGING)
c. we need monitoring user activity (if possible without adding permissions ?)
- which apps running
- what kind OS version is running and platform info like CPU/RAM.
- when was the last interaction with the phone
d. knowing a+b+c we would adjust the work of our service accordingly
e. we would need our service to interact with our SERVERS during this stage
We would test this Milestone on another 100-200 devices and if all works

Please do not overbid, I'm experienced employer on several other platforms and did a lot of projects, please check my profile. I'm not in a hurry to award some blindly, as I hate disputes.
I would prefer to do complete all three phases, not instantly if possible.
