Android Utility App Development -- 2
Budget: ₹3,000 – ₹18,000 INR
I need an Android utility app built from the ground up. Although it falls under the “utility” category, every user will still have a personal profile. That profile should let them register, update basic details, and upload photos straight from their camera roll or camera. No feed, no messaging—just clean, reliable profile management with photo-upload capability.
Core scope
• Modern Android codebase (Kotlin or well-structured Java) inside Android Studio
• Secure authentication and local/session management
• Profile screen with editable fields and photo picker / uploader
• Efficient image storage (Firebase Storage, AWS S3, or best-practice alternative)
• Smooth UI/UX that matches current Google Material guidelines
Deliverables
• Play-Store-ready APK
• Complete, well-commented source code in Git
• Brief setup/read-me so another developer can build and run the project
Acceptance criteria
The APK installs without crashes on Android 8+. A new user can sign up, edit profile information, and add at least one photo that persists after app restart.
With those pieces in place, the rest of the app’s utility functions can be slotted in during a future phase, so clarity, modularity, and clean architecture are crucial at this stage.
