We are seeking a skilled and experienced Android Developer to join our dynamic team. The primary responsibility of this role is to implement a new feature in our Android application that integrates with a third-party QR code scanner. This feature will enable the app to communicate with the external QR code scanner, allowing users to scan QR codes and display the results within the app.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the product and design teams to understand the feature requirements and user experience goals.
Develop and implement the integration of the Android app with a third-party QR code scanner.
Ensure seamless communication between the app and the QR code scanner when the user initiates a scan.
Capture and process the QR code data from the scanner and display it accurately within the app.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the feature functions correctly across different Android devices.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for issues related to the QR code scanning feature.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in Android development and QR code scanning technologies.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Android Developer with a strong portfolio of mobile applications.
Proficiency in Java and Kotlin programming languages.
Extensive experience with Android SDK and various Android frameworks.
Familiarity with integrating third-party hardware devices and APIs.
Experience with QR code scanning technologies and libraries.
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
Ability to write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
