API Testing Automation Guidance with Java

I'm new to automation testing but have some basic knowledge that I'd like to expand. My primary goal is to learn Automation with BDD, Serenity framework, and Rest Assured to implement it in an API testing project at work.

Key Requirements:
- Experience in Java, BDD, Serenity framework, and Rest Assured
- Able to guide and teach on:
- Understanding an automation project
- Creating and executing tests
- Reporting
- GIT Integration
The project is centered around API testing, so any specific experience here is a plus. I'm looking for a patient, experienced professional who can help me grasp the fundamentals and guide me through the intricacies of implementing automation with the mentioned frameworks. There are existing scripts in place which I need to understand and also create new scripts and execute on my own.

Ideal Skills:
- Strong Java background
- Experience in BDD
- Expertise in Serenity framework and Rest Assured
- Previous experience in API testing is a bonus
- Strong communication and mentoring skills
