1. Project Title
Training and Mentorship for DIGIT-Based Development & Project Oversight
2. Introduction
This project aims to provide hands-on training to the in-house development team on DIGIT, an open-source digital governance platform. The selected freelancer will also oversee a project being developed using DIGIT and provide continuous guidance, ensuring best practices and successful implementation.
3. Scope of Work
The freelancer will be responsible for:
1. Conducting comprehensive training sessions on DIGIT’s architecture, APIs, and development best practices.
2. Providing hands-on guidance on real-time project development.
3. Ensuring code quality, scalability, and security compliance.
4. Reviewing the project’s progress and identifying areas of improvement.
5. Helping the team with DIGIT deployment, API integrations, and troubleshooting.
6. Conducting periodic code reviews and sprint assessments.

Project Guidance & Oversight Weekly code reviews, troubleshooting, and sprint planning (Ongoing for atleast 3 months 12-15Hrs a week)
5. Responsibilities
Freelancer's Responsibilities
• Design and deliver structured training sessions with practical demonstrations.
• Conduct regular hands-on coding exercises for trainees.
• Review the project codebase and suggest optimizations.
• Provide mentorship for best coding and deployment practices.
• Help resolve technical roadblocks faced by the team.
• Guide the team through real-time deployment on the DIGIT platform.
Client's Responsibilities
• Provide necessary access to project code and resources.
• Ensure trainee participation and availability.
• Arrange required software and development environment setup.
• Facilitate communication and feedback loops with the freelancer.
6. Engagement Model & Duration
• Engagement Type: Project-Based Contract
• Training Duration: 4-6 Weeks (Flexible, based on team progress)
• Project Oversight Duration: Ongoing for 3 Months
• Mode of Training: Online/On-site (To be decided as per convenience)

8. Acceptance Criteria

• The team can deploy and manage a DIGIT-based solution independently.
9. Termination Clause
• Either party can terminate the contract with 15 days’ prior written notice.
• Payment will be adjusted based on the work completed at termination.
10. Conclusion
This engagement will equip the development team with the required DIGIT expertise while ensuring the successful execution of a DIGIT-based project under expert mentorship. The freelancer will guide, review, and troubleshoot the project while enabling the team to gain self-sufficiency in DIGIT development.
