Japanese-English Wedding Coordinator

I'm planning a wedding in Tokyo and need a bilingual Japanese-English assistant. Your role will involve reaching out to wedding venues, translating correspondence, and potentially assisting with other aspects of the planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contacting identified venues
- Translating correspondence
- Coordinating meetings and site visits, if needed
I have a lot of ideas and places to reach out to, but I'm open to exploring other options as well. It would be wonderful to work with someone who has a creative, nontraditional, and casual approach to wedding planning, as well as an interest or experience in the field. Additional tasks may include vendor coordination, guest communication, and planning activities for guests.
Skills and Experience:
- Fluent in Japanese and English
- Experience in wedding planning or event coordination
- Excellent communication and translation skills
- Creative and open-minded
- Familiarity with Tokyo venues desirable but not essential
The project should be completed within 6 months. Limited assistance on the wedding day is required. The wedding planner should focus on a modern or contemporary theme for the wedding.
