Japanese Early Education Curriculum Developer Needed

Hikari Kids is seeking a dedicated consultant to help develop a comprehensive early childhood education curriculum that emphasizes Japanese educational values. The ideal candidate will be Japanese, fluent in English, and experienced in creating child-centric educational content.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop a complete early childhood education curriculum that incorporates Japanese educational philosophies, focusing on intellectual development, respect for parents, and promoting happiness.
Design engaging, age-appropriate modules for young learners, integrating language development, cognitive skills, and emotional intelligence.
Collaborate with the Hikari Kids team to tailor the curriculum for the Indonesian market while maintaining alignment with the core educational principles.
Provide recommendations for teaching materials, activities, and assessments that support the curriculum’s goals.
Ensure the curriculum is adaptable to various teaching environments and can be easily integrated into the daily schedule.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Native Japanese speaker with fluency in English (both written and spoken).
Proven experience in early childhood education curriculum development.
Strong understanding of Japanese educational principles and how they can be adapted for international contexts.
Ability to work independently and collaborate with diverse teams to meet project objectives.
Experience working with young children or in early childhood education settings is a plus.
Preferred Experience:
Experience with cross-cultural curriculum adaptation.
Previous consultancy or teaching experience in international settings, particularly in Asia.
Contract Details:
Duration: Ongoing project-based contract.
Location: Remote work, with occasional in-person consultations (as needed).
Compensation: Competitive, based on experience.
