Need Java Programmer Experienced in FOP to Develop Something to Translate from WORD to FOP

We are looking for someone who can take an Open-Office WORD document, and translate it into a pdf. We use FOP currently, which is slow in development and not user friendly enough for a business (nontechnical) person.

The resulting PDF will include data merged from our database, e.g., Name and Address, but also variable data such as a list of automobiles (yes, this is the hard part)...

The PDF must have exact FONTs and can include jpeg files...
