SharePoint QMS Setup

Job ID: 39707929

Budget: $25 – $50 USD

I need a Quality Management System built directly in SharePoint that goes beyond the usual “document-management only” approach. The core goal (classified as “other” in the questionnaire) is to create a single, well-structured environment where every quality file—policies, procedures, audit reports and any additional artefacts we generate—can live, evolve and be formally approved.

Key functions must include native SharePoint version control on every library, granular access permissions that reflect our current quality roles, and a straightforward document-approval workflow I can maintain myself once you hand it over. Although document management is central, the architecture should stay flexible enough for future expansion into process automation or compliance dashboards if we choose.

Deliverables
• A SharePoint site (or hub, if you recommend) configured with the required libraries, content types and metadata
• Version history enabled and tested for each library
• Role-based permission scheme mapped to my existing user groups
• A reusable approval workflow built with modern SharePoint tools (Power Automate is fine) and demonstrated end-to-end
• Brief hand-over notes or a short video showing how to add new document types, adjust permissions, and tweak the workflow

Acceptance criteria: a sample policy and a sample audit report move from draft to approved status with full version tracking and correct user visibility at every step.

If you have proven SharePoint QMS experience, especially around Power Automate or similar, I’d love to see it when you respond.
