Seeking SharePoint specialist to boost Intranet implementation

We are seeking an experienced SharePoint specialist with a track record of hands-on implementation of intranets using SharePoint to join our team for a targeted consultancy. This role requires 4-8 hours of dedicated expertise in total, with a potential for more, to help us enhance and optimize our SharePoint environment. In addition to a robust knowledge of SharePoint's advanced features, the candidate should also possess practical experience in setting up and managing SharePoint-based intranets.
Key Areas of Focus:
- Custom Content Types: Assist in the creation and configuration of custom content types to streamline the categorization and management of various document types.
- Term Store Management: Guide the setup and governance of term stores, including the creation and administration of term sets and keywords for improved document classification and searchability.
- Metadata & Enterprise Keywords: Show how to implement metadata and enterprise keyword-driven navigation systems for better document discoverability and retrieval efficiency.
- Drop-off Folder: Advise on the creation and use of a drop-off folder to facilitate automated document management and organization.
- Libraries: Recommend and introduce additional SharePoint libraries or features that could enhance our specific operational context.
- Long-term Management: Provide strategic advice on maintaining the SharePoint environment, encompassing user access controls, data security protocols, content stewardship, effective feedback mechanisms, and the management of page and content updates.
- Workflows: Develop workflows to support effective information management within SharePoint.
Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience with SharePoint, including the deployment of intranets and utilization of its advanced features.
- Proven hands-on experience in implementing SharePoint intranets.
- Deep knowledge of custom content types, managed term stores, and metadata utilization for navigation.
- Excellent communication and teaching abilities to effectively convey technical knowledge.
- Ability to commit to approximately 8 hours per week for remote guidance and consultation.
- Experience with ISO9001 and ISO27001 standards is considered a beneficial addition.
