Stop the WhatsApp scammers

I'm facing a problem with my iPhone WhatsApp. Some scammers text me with 20 messages in one shot with special characters that make WhatsApp hang and not let me in. I need to delete WhatsApp and log in again. After I logged they sent me the same rubbish text and it's not allowing me to even delete the text. After several tries, I succeeded in deleting the message and blocking them but unfortunately, they text me from a different number most of these numbers were from Russia. I reported this silly bug in iPhone WhatsApp but they haven't resolved it yet.
Therefore, I need to stop them by knowing the identity of the person who is in charge of these scams because I am confident that the person in charge of this is knowing me very well and I need to report him to the officials in order to stop him from harming others. I'm using my official number for business work and this person is causing me loss and inconvenience by utilizing this silly unresolved bug in WhatsApp iPhone.
