React Native App for local TV channel
Budget: €2,500 – €10,000 EUR
We need to build a React Native App for a local TV channel, which will need to be compiled for Android and for iOS. Before making any bid for this project, please read and confirm all of the following points:
1) Coding Language: React Native
2) Target Devices and Operating Systems: Android 4.0 (API Level 14), iPhone 6S + SE (iOS 13), Android TV, Apple TV
3) Source Code: will be given to us in its entirity, and must not be shared publicly anywhere. We would like to follow the development process via a private repository on GitHub or similar.
4) Data: will come from the TV channel's WordPress website, where you must develop a plugin that we will install on this website to generate any necessary endpoints using the WordPress REST API. We will appear as the authors of this plugin.
5) App UI Language: Spanish
6) Design: we will provide the UI design in Adobe Xd, with a specific layout each for mobiles, tablets and TV.
7) App Functionality:
— You can watch the TV channels' live web stream (same source URL as their existing website)
— You can watch any past shows (videos)
— Past shows can be pre-downloaded into the mobile and tablet devices' Local Storage so that they can be watched later with no WiFi
— All past shows (videos) can be shared with the device's native sharing function
— The users can add individual shows or full programmes (like a series or full season of a show) as favourites, and see them in their favourites section. They can also un-favourite
— The users can watch the TV channel's live web stream and any of the past shows without creating an account, but creating an account will have several advantages: favouritting, continue watching (even on other devices), select profile (between Kids, News, Movies, Series, Reality; these will just alter the order of the shows shown in the home screen)
8) The Source Code must be clean and very well commented in English or Spanish, to enable easy maintenance and future edits
