Native OR unity developer for opencv
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
Our code is made of opencv and mediapipe.
The code in opencv is made in C# and must be converted to native. OR if you can reduce unity/opencv/mediapipe size in unity that is an alternative too.
THE NATIVE ALTERNATIVE:
It means completely remove anything with unity and move to native. It means you must replace with a opencv for native.
No, you do not need to know anything in unity so do not get stressed about that. You simply get the 2000 lines of code and convert it to native for ios and android
The code is working under unity, but unity builds to a gross size even with optimisation.
THE UNITY ALTERNATIVE:
if you know how to opitmise it under unity, that could be something I would be interested in as a shortcut)
One part of this project is to add colour detection and is very easy if you have correct experience.
Next is to add face filters which is tracked in opencv.
If you have dart experience you have a plus.
ToDo by you:
1. Add colour detection, you then get access to the code.
2.a. IF NATIVE ALTERNATIVE: Convert to native for ios and android from opencv for unity(replace with native opencv and mediapipe)
2b. IF UNITY ALTERNATIVE, stay with it and then reduce file size
3. Correct bugs in the mediapipe filters
4. Add more filters
5. make it work or support the flutter developer
Your first task:
- Your first task is to do a special milestone to show your experience as too many ask for code.
- If you can do the job and it shows you have the experience you will then get access to the other parts and can review the other parts of the code. You will of course get paid for the first task too.
How it works:
The project will be divided into 4 milestones.
- For each part you deliver code and a working apk.
- This code will then be reviewed by a third party and we will both get a report on your code status and any errors and bugs must be fixed based on this.
Your experience:
You get this job based on your experience in the area.
It means you must present references and examples that create credibility.
There are too many who say they can do it and in the next sentence ask for code and then refuse to sign NDA and requires me to share the code. I happen to have paid for the code and will share it with the correct person who is serious about the job. (Please refer to how it works).
--- So your first question is: please tell me about your last 3 opencv and mediapipe projects.
NDA
IP is important to understand. It is the ownership of the code and protects it against becoming public. And yes, it cost money to develop it. It means you must sign it before getting any access to it.
Your skills:
- opencv
- mediapipe
- native
- c#
- unity
- 7+ years in software and coding.
QA:
- is the project open source?
No, this is code I own and have paid for.
- Can I see the code?
Yes, after you have fullfilled your first task in this project as a first milestone.
- Can you explain functionality?
Yes, opencv is tracking the face and must detect landmarks. Mediapipe adds filters to it that can move along with the face.
