We want to create a mobile app with two screens. On the first screen the user can either take pictures or upload multiple pages of highly standardized official letters. Pictures of the letters (1-6 pages on average) should be uploaded and saved in a cloud data storage, which has to be set as well (the storage must fulfill GDPR standards). The app will run OCR on the pictures to extract specific datapoints (text and numbers). Up to 12 data points (like names, addresses and numbers) need to be extracted. Upon request we will provide you with samples to identify the location and type of strings. The extracted data points should also be saved in the cloud data storage (ideally in a SQL table). After the extraction of the data, the user should see, on the second screen, an output text that is generated based on the extracted text and some if-then-statements (variable text). Additionally, a standard text will always appear.
At this stage of the project, we want to focus on functionality and create a minimum viable product in a short time frame, to prove the concept. After we finish this project, we will focus on Corporate Identity and UI/UX Design.
