Basketball Scorebook App iOS
Budget: $25 – $50 USD
The attached is an incomplete spec sheet for a new application to keep score during basketball games. I have never had an app developed before so I'd like to get a sense of cost and timing before getting too far. The attached has the bulk of the requirements.
Objective: create a simple, easy to use, application to keep score for basketball games. The app will track primary statistics like points, fouls, rebounds, steals, timeouts, etc. The user interface should be simple to manage during a game. It should eliminate the need to use a paper scorebook.
Nice to have but not required: ability for others to follow along on their mobile phones during the game for score and statistical updates. This would require the app to push updates in real time.
There are a couple apps already available - Game Changer and HoopMetrics - but they cost money. I’d like this app to be free to start.
