Back end developer needed for iOS fintech startup

Stonks Trading is a newly funded startup looking to make waves in the fintech space. We are neck deep in an exciting time of change within the personal financial landscape, and are interested in finding a unique, dedicated, and creative individual who is brave enough to shake up the status quo. Stonks trading is poised for rapid growth in the coming month and we're looking for individuals who are willing to grow alongside us.

As our first back end hire, Stonks Trading will be tasking you with instituting a strong and versatile middleware layer into our platform. This platform will be responsible for thousands of users buying/selling/shorting stocks on all US exchanges. You will be building the middleware to a simple, elegant, and fluid UI/UX and connecting to multiple 3rd party back end APIs. We are looking for someone with senior level back end iOS experience.

In this role, you will be:
*Connecting a completed front end iOS platform to multiple back end APIs
*Writing clean, tested, and well-documented code
*Find and address performance issues
*Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, multi-threaded environments
*Working knowledge of Scrum and other agile practices
