12yrold to shadow game developer

For our grandson's 12th birthday, we would like to match him up with a game developer to shadow for a day? We don't know much about this ourselves, but we know he loves to play games and watch videos on his iPad. We would love for him to see what it takes to create and design, in hopes that this might spark an interest for him!
Please let us know if this is a possibility. We are in Illinois, but we will take him where ever we can for him to experience this!
