iPhone 17 E-Ink Case Testing
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I have a working prototype of a next-generation E-Ink (e-paper) case built specifically for the iPhone 17 and I need real-world feedback before moving to mass production. The goal is a thorough function test, with a special emphasis on overall display quality—more precisely, how sharp and clear text and graphics look during everyday use.
You will receive a pre-production case shipped to your address. After pairing it with your own iPhone 17, I’d like you to use it for one full week and put it through normal scenarios: reading messages, glancing at widgets, checking the lock screen, and anything else you normally do. While doing so, please pay close attention to:
• Sharpness & clarity of the E-Ink panel under different lighting
• Ghosting or blur when the image changes
• Contrast between light and dark elements
• Any unexpected glitches during function testing
Deliverables I need from you
1. A short unboxing video to confirm the unit arrived intact.
2. A daily log (text or voice notes are fine) highlighting any observations tied to sharpness and clarity.
3. At week’s end, a concise survey I provide—plus two high-resolution photos that best illustrate the screen quality you experienced.
Acceptance criteria
• All feedback submitted within 8 calendar days of receipt.
• Notes must clearly address sharpness/clarity in varied lighting (daylight, indoor LED, low light).
• Photos must be focused, unedited, and show the screen displaying text.
No special tools are required beyond your iPhone 17 and normal everyday use. If this initial round goes well, there may be opportunities to test future firmware and additional accessories.
