iOS App to be used primarily on ipad, with website and database
Budget: £3,000 – £5,000 GBP
I am looking to bring professional soccer stats to lower league soccer.
I would like an app that allows a team analyst to record game moments to create aggregated stats and insights, similar to what a premier league player may get from opta to some extent.
The analyst will record actions related to a player and the success of these actions. These will provide a basic overview of a players performance. Number 7 > Shot > On target = Yes (100% shot on target rate). It can flourish and develop to give even greater insights but at quite a basic level is what we're looking for for now.
The app will be signed in to and charged a subscription for the team. They can then log in, track their stats and get ingame insights.
All players, teams, venues, referees etc will be stored in a database (this will allow for prepoulated stats from other sources) and the stats from the app will be uploaded to give season/multi game insights.
The app must work quickly and be user friendly, as it will rely on an analyst pressing buttons retrospectively to log actions. I look at it kind of playing FIFA in revers, a player passes, you press the pass button for that player and then record the binary outcome of that action.
I'll attach a really rough spec, we will look to implement better graphics and i'm open to discussions on the best way to do things as i'm a data analyst by trade and have no coding experience and a limited understanding.
Currently, the analyst will only record for one team, but i foresee the apps from two teams in the same game talking to each other at some point.
Also down the line would like to see if there are any integrations with GPS which seem available and widely used by amateur soccer players at this time.
Happy to start small, we have missed the start of the season so are looking for a beta version we can grow into something that is widely used.
