iOS App Development for Leica DISTO D5
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I'm currently in the development stage of an iOS app that interfaces with a Leica DISTO D5 laser through Bluetooth. I need assistance specifically with setting up Bluetooth communication and executing commands for laser measurement.
Key requirements:
- Proficiency in iOS app development
- Experience with Bluetooth communication in mobile apps
- Ability to integrate with external SDKs and hardware
- Familiarity with laser distance measuring devices is a plus
I have full access to the Leica DISTO D5 SDK documentation, so knowledge of this specific SDK is not mandatory but would be beneficial. The final deliverable should be a seamless and efficient communication between the app and the laser device, allowing for precise distance measurements to be fetched and displayed in real-time.
Attached are the documents and a full sample app (that I couldn't get to work, but may be helpful)
From you, I ONLY need a view with a single button that will interface with the DISTO to send commands to fire the laser and return the distance value. I won't need a ton of bluetooth extras, etc. The DISTO pairs with my iPhone just fine, I just can't get it to 'talk' to it. Thank you!!
