Following an outage on Monday night that disrupted large segments of its user base across the United States, T-Mobile stated on Tuesday that it was performing at "near normal levels."
According to online outage tracker Downdetector, users began reporting issues with phone calls, messages, and data services around 9 p.m. ET. At one point, it had gathered more than 83,100 self-reported disruptions from people in cities including Los Angeles, Seattle, Las Vegas, Chicago, New York City, Phoenix, Dallas, and more. Many iPhone users reported that when they lost service but could still make emergency calls, their phone flashed a "SOS" message in the status bar.
