Task: Development of Minimum Viable Product (MVP) for StoryBuddy App
Objective:
We are looking for a skilled freelancer to develop the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) for StoryBuddy, an app designed to regulate children's tablet usage through educational activities and parental controls. The MVP will focus on the following goals:
Implement core reading and parental control mechanisms.
Create an offline story library for a cost-effective launch.
Gather user feedback to prepare for future growth.
Features to Develop:
Offline Story Module:
Build a static story library categorized by age (4-6, 7-9, 10-13) and gender, consisting of approximately 100 stories: 30 short, 30 medium, and 40 long stories.
Stories should be downloaded during tablet setup and function offline.
When an internet connection is available, the app should synchronize stories and allow new ones to be added.
Child Module:
Develop a feature for children to read stories and answer questions afterward (3-5 questions based on story length: 3 for short, 4 for medium, 5 for long).
Implement a reward system where correct answers unlock tablet usage time (e.g., short story: 15 minutes, medium: 30 minutes, long: 45 minutes).
Parent Module:
Create a parent dashboard to add children and tablets, and set usage restrictions (daily/session-based time limits).
Develop basic reporting features, including daily reading time and correct answer rates.
Technical Requirements:
Platform: Android (preferably using Flutter or React Native for future iOS compatibility).
Local Database: SQLite for offline functionality.
Backend: Firebase for basic synchronization (story updates and user data).
Language: Turkish and English(with potential for future localization).
Deliverables:
Fully functional MVP with the above features.
Clean, well-documented code.
Basic user guide for parents and children.
Testing and bug fixes to ensure a smooth launch.
Timeline:
