Simple Place in Line App
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
OVERVIEW
We have a landscape design and installation company.
We have anywhere from 20 - 60 people on our schedule at any time.
When I sell a job I add the customer to the bottom of a written list.
Every time a job is completed I do 2 things...
1. I delete that job from the list.
2. I send out a text message to the next 3 jobs in line telling them that they are either next, second in line or third in line.
There's no way for an app to tell when we are done with a job but If I delete a job from the list I would like the app to automate the process of sending out the text messages to the next 3 people in line to keep them notified of their position in line.
For those that are further down on the list (example, position 30) I want them to be able to launch the app, enter their name or phone number and see their current position in line.
ADDING PEOPLE
I only want to enter in people names and phone number as I sell each
job. No other info needed.
- Once I enter them, I want them to get a welcome text that shows their
number/place in line with a link to download the app.
REMOVING PEOPLE
I want to delete people names when we finish their job
- Once I do, I want an automated text to go out to everybody showing
them their new position in line
- I want a different text to go out to the next 3 people in line letting
them know what to expect.
THINGS TO KNOW
This is landscape construction so all of our start dates are
approximate.
The app can NOT be based on dates and times.
It will simply be a numbered list of names in chronological order that
will move people up and notify them via text (or push notification) as
names are deleted from the list.
INTERFACE (see attached pictures)
Client simply enters their phone number and it shows them a large number, 1-60, indicating their place in line.
The admin needs to be able to add clients by entering the clients first and last name and their phone number.
The admin needs to be able to change the verbiage in each of the 4 text messages if they need to.
The admin needs to see how many days a client has been waiting.
Admin needs to be able to see how many days its been since they entered the client in the app
Client should not be able to see anything but the client interface (see pics).
