Russian Voice Recording Project

We’re looking for native Russian speakers from Russia to participate in a remote solo voice recording project. Recordings must be completed in a quiet environment using an iPhone.

Recording App: ECAI (Easy Collection App) – Setup instructions and login details will be provided

Content: Each participant will record 996 sentences

Nationality: Russian

Native Language: Russian

Technical & Recording Guidelines

Device: iPhone only

Environment:

Quiet and echo-free

Background noise must not exceed 40 dB

No external interruptions

Voice Specifications:

Amplitude: 5000–15000 smpl

Clear pronunciation and steady pace

No mispronunciations, added/missing words, or skipped content

Timing Rules:

Pauses between words: < 0.5 seconds

Silent segments between sentences: < 0.8 seconds, with no abrupt amplitude changes

Ideal Candidate
A native Russian speaker residing in Russia

Has access to a quiet, controlled environment and an iPhone

Can follow detailed instructions and quality standards

Reliable and able to complete the full recording task (996 sentences)

Compensation:

$20 USD per person for fully completed and approved recordings
