Modernise Search Results - IOS APP
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I have an IOS App (not deployed yet) with all functionality built however our search results page is not modern and is clunky in its look and feel. The search functionality works OK, we just want the results component (once search button is clicked) to be more modern. The code does the right functionality, just needs a refresh.
Requirements:
- make the results returned more modern (UI needs a refresh)
- We have 4 results which are returned (behind the scene, the start as "Ready", "In--progress", "Complete", "Error"
- When the search is submitted, the status is either "Ready" OR "In--progress", when the result is processed (in another system), it is updated to either "Complete" OR "Error" status. The APP currently polls the DB every second check for the status. Once it returns it changes the UI to display the results (Price and Book now button)
- Each book now button has a hyperlink URL which it directs to another app
- Every time a result comes back, we need the banner to change the price e.g "We're currently finding you the cheapest ride... You're currently saving $4.00" This amount is calculated by most expensive minus cheapest. code is written for this.
- New Search button already works, just need to make look nicer
- When search is submitted, the screen slowly scrolls down. We like this functionality, just want it to be a better user experience, the search can take up to 10 seconds so if there is a small animation to distract, look nice for 3 seconds (currently searching) then to scroll to the results (time can be configurable in the code)
