Iphone 6 photo recovery

My children accidentally locked my girlfriend's old iPhone6s, to the point it needs to be wiped if it turns on, it has all of the pictures of the first year of my 2nd child's life which were not backed up to the cloud. I'm extremely interested if these can be recovered and for how much. I heard the software elcomsoft could do it, but I don't want to attempt this on my own or pay for licenses for such an expensive software to only use it once. Considered downloading cellibrite, would rather hire a professional. Lmk
