Food Truck Ordering and Tracking App
Budget: £750 – £1,500 GBP
We are looking for an experienced mobile app developer to build a food ordering app for a food truck business. The app will allow customers to log in, browse the menu, pre-order food, and select a pickup location & time. The app must be available for both iOS and Android and published using our developer accounts.
Project Overview: App Name: Solana Masala (Food Truck Pre-Order App)
Platforms: iOS & Android (Cross-platform preferred: React Native / Flutter)
Features:
✅ Mandatory User Login: Customers must register and log in using their email and phone number.
✅ Menu Browsing & Ordering: Users can view food items, add to cart, and place orders.
✅ Pre-Order for Pickup: Users select a pickup location & time based on the food truck’s schedule.
✅ Secure Online Payments: Integrated Stripe, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or similar.
✅ Order Confirmation: Push notifications, email, and/or SMS notifications for successful orders.
✅ Push Notification Updates: Customers receive push notifications about deals, order progress, distance to pick up, delivery tracking, etc
✅ Live Tracking: Live order tracking for users to know how far away their order is from the designated pick-up zones - start off with two pick-up locations e.g Location A @ Midday, Location B @ 3PM (admin must be able to edit these/add more)
Admin Features (Solana Masala Control Panel)
✅ Menu & Price Management: Ability to update food items, descriptions, and pricing.
✅ Order Management Dashboard: Track and process incoming orders.
✅ User & Order History Management: View customer orders and manage refunds if necessary.
✅ Payment Handling & Reports: Monitor sales and transactions using Solana Masala’s accounts.
