Enhance and Finalize Jewellery News Mobile App
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
Project Overview
We have developed a mobile application similar to Inshorts that delivers curated jewellery news articles to users. This app is complemented by a web-based admin panel, which allows the editorial team to seamlessly upload and manage content that reflects instantly on the app. The current app is built using Expo (React Native framework) with Firebase handling authentication (mobile and email-based login) and backend operations.
The next phase of the project involves refining the user experience and preparing the application for public release on both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.
Project Components
Existing System
Mobile App built with Expo (React Native)
Firebase Integration for login via mobile number and email
Web-based Admin Panel for uploading and managing jewellery news articles
Real-time article reflection on the mobile app
Enhancement Requirements
1. Branding & Identity Updates
Update the app logo in the application UI as well as for Play Store and App Store listings.
Display a persistent welcome message:
"Welcome to The New Jeweller International Media Group"
to appear every time the app is opened.
2. Login & Authentication Improvements
Mobile Number Login Fix
Resolve the current issue where mobile sign-up fails to work as intended.
Email Login Flow Optimization
Remove the requirement for users to check their email inbox for login links.
Replace it with a simple verification code (OTP) sent to the email directly within the app.
Use the label "verification code" instead of “OTP” to make the interface more accessible to a global audience.
3. Onboarding Experience
On first login, present a Category Selection Screen.
The “All” category should be selected by default.
Users should have the option to deselect “All” and choose specific categories based on their interest.
