Auction App ios and android
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
I am looking for a skilled developer to create an Auction App for both iOS and Android platforms. The app should have the following features:
I believe I would like to start with an ios app and then after launch, build out the android version.
- Bid tracking: Users should be able to track their bids and see the current highest bid.
- Push notifications: Users should receive notifications when they are outbid or when a bid they placed is about to end.
In terms of design, I have a rough idea of how I want the app to look, but I am open to suggestions and improvements.
I expect the app to have more than 500 users, so it should be able to handle a large number of users and bids simultaneously.
Ideal skills and experience for this job:
- Experience in developing auction apps for both iOS and Android platforms.
- Proficiency in implementing bid tracking, push notifications, and in-app messaging features.
- Strong design skills to create an appealing and user-friendly interface.

I am looking to duplicate the functionality of car auction websites like bringatrailer, carsandbids, marqued dot coms but I want to build it for the toy market. specifically die cast cars.
Will need to vet users both buyers and sellers with cc or paypal.
I really like what the StockX app is doing to sign people up, buyers and sellers.
Apps to follow:
- StockX
- Goat
Same concept as the above apps, want people to be able to post an item for sale, some will have a reserve ability (lowest price accepted) NO BUY NOW options... auction will run for X amount of days and the highest bidder wins the item. Buyers will see the cost with web fee attached, shipping cost (based on seller location and buyer location) all entered when registering. Price to list an item .50 cents, we want to take 10% of the sale price with a ceiling at $10. Added on the final sale of the item.

auction is done, buyer is charged with shipping amount
seller receives the funds minus the 10% for the website
