iOS App Store Submission Specialist - Contract Position
About the Role
We are a law firm seeking an experienced iOS App Store submission specialist to assist our clients with the technical aspects of app publication. You will work alongside our legal team to ensure smooth app launches while we handle the legal compliance aspects.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end iOS app submission process through App Store Connect
Create and configure app listings, including metadata, descriptions, keywords, and screenshots
Handle provisioning profiles, certificates, and code signing requirements
Coordinate TestFlight beta testing setup and management
Navigate App Store Review guidelines and respond to rejection feedback
Manage in-app purchase configurations and subscription setups
Ensure technical compliance with Apple's latest requirements (App Tracking Transparency, privacy labels, etc.)
Communicate with Apple Review team to resolve submission issues
Maintain multiple Apple Developer accounts for different clients
Document submission processes and maintain checklist for each client
Required Qualifications
3+ years of hands-on experience with iOS app submission and App Store Connect
Proven track record of successfully publishing apps to the App Store
Deep understanding of Apple's review guidelines and common rejection reasons
Experience with certificate management, provisioning profiles, and code signing
Familiarity with TestFlight and app beta testing processes
Knowledge of App Store Optimization (ASO) best practices
Experience handling app updates and version management
Strong written communication skills for App Review correspondence
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with enterprise app distribution
Knowledge of Apple's legal agreements (EULA, Terms of Service requirements)
Familiarity with export compliance and encryption regulations
Experience with multi-territory app releases
Understanding of COPPA, GDPR, and privacy requirements for apps
Basic understanding of iOS development (Swift/Objective-C knowledge helpful but not required)
Contract Details
Ongoing contract basis with flexible hours
Remote work possible
Per-project or hourly compensation (negotiable based on experience)
Potential for long-term engagement with multiple clients
